Adrie Koster was a satisfied trainer after Willem II beat the Luxembourg Progrès Niedercorn (0-5). “I don’t think I have much to complain about”, he admitted after the simple win.
Willem II already led 0-3 in Differdange after 34 minutes. “Then I knew it was all right”, said Koster in front of the RTL 7 camera. Koster had urged his players to not underestimate the opponent in the run-up to the game. “They didn’t do that either,” said the experienced trainer. “We started the game well and that’s half the battle in these kind of duels.”
There is a good chance that Willem II will receive the Scottish Rangers FC next Thursday for a duel in the third heat of the Europa League. Koster and his players are looking forward to that meeting “But on Sunday we will play a league game first”, Koster referred to a home game with Heracles Almelo.
