Rasmussen from Vitesse also infected with corona virus

Jacob Rasmussen of Vitesse is infected with the corona virus. The defender has not had contact with fellow players since Wednesday as a precaution and has skipped training on Thursday and Friday. He will have to miss Saturday’s game against Sparta.

At Sparta Rotterdam, Deroy Duarte is infected with the virus. He too will have to miss the match on Saturday evening in the GelreDome.

On Thursday, head coach Thomas Letsch and his assistants Jospeh Oosting, Jan Fiesser, Rein Baart, Jan van Norel, Tim Arends, Dennis van der Meulen and Jos Kortekaas tested positive. Technical director Johannes Spors will form the technical staff against Sparta together with Edward Sturing and Nicky Hofs.
