The Eisenhowerlaan, an important entrance and exit road for many people in Alphen, will be closed to traffic from Thursday evening at 8 p.m. to Monday morning at 6 a.m.
During that period, traffic has to make a detour, because the section between the intersections with Burgemeester Bruins Slotsingel and Horstenweg (Herenhof parking lot) will be closed.
The road will be closed to replace a culvert (across the Dijksloot). This part of the road will also be paved. Traffic wardens will divert traffic (including buses). In addition, the Shell petrol station will be temporarily closed.
The road has been under construction for some time, but at least one lane was always open in both directions.
