Nikkie Plessen can be seen as a permanent jury member in Drag Race Holland

Fashion designer and presenter Nikkie Plessen can be seen as a permanent jury member in the first season of Drag Race Holland at Videoland from Friday 18 September. RTL announced this in a press release on Tuesday.

For eight weeks, Plessen will judge the outfits of the drag queens competing for the title of the Netherlands’ first ‘Drag Race Superstar’ together with Drag Race presenter Fred van Leer.

The presenter says in the press release that she is most inspired by the fact “that drag involves so much creativity and that it goes further than just creating a nice outfit”. She continues: “With my fashion background it is of course really fantastic to be part of this.”

In addition to Plessen, cabaret artist Sanne Wallis de Vries, make-up artist and YouTuber NikkieTutorials, singer Roxeanne Hazes and fashion designer Cleas Iversen, model Loiza Lamers, singer Ruth Jacott, actor Rick Paul van Mulligen, singer and presenter Ryanne van Dorst, choreographer and pride ambassador Amber Vineyard , singer Edsilia Rombley and television presenter Carlo Boszhard can be seen in the program as a jury member.

In Drag Race Holland, ten Dutch drag queens in the knockout race will decide who can call themselves the Netherlands’ first ‘Drag Race Superstar’. The program is derived from the American RuPaul’s Drag Race, which has been on television since 2009. After a Thai version, Drag Race Holland will be the second non-English version.
