Heartbreaking post Angela Groothuizen reaches followers

Angela Groothuizen (61) has shared an emotional message on her Instagram. Both her uncle and aunt are currently fighting for their lives in the hospital, but due to all the corona measures, they are separated from each other.

Angela’s aunt and uncle are in different hospitals, one is in Hoorn and the other in Alkmaar. Thanks to the Ambulance Wish Foundation, a group of medically trained volunteers who fulfill final wishes free of charge every day, her aunt Jo and uncle Riekus are together again. ‘They were recently married for 65 years and now they are in two different hospitals with Covid,’ writes the presenter with a photo of them together. “Your heart is breaking right?” My old aunt Jo and uncle Riekus are together for a while thanks to @ambulancewens. They were recently married for 65 years and now they are in two different hospitals with Covid (Hoorn and Alkmaar). A sweet picture but your heart breaks right?

Her followers are deeply impressed with the post. ‘Such a confronting photo’, someone leave in the comments. “Should take a look at all those hitchhikers who don’t want to abide by the measures.” Another writes: ‘So unnecessary if everyone just obeys the rules. Lots of strength to you and these two beautiful people. ‘

Angela herself has had an open relationship for years, something she thinks more people should try. She tells all about it in this video:
