Fred van Leer bruises his ribs during an attempted robbery

Just when the weather seemed to be getting better with Fred van Leer (44), the stylist has to deal with a new blow. Two men posing as employees of PostNL tried to rob him this morning in Rotterdam.

The robbers have not been able to enter the house, says Van Leer in a video on Instagram. “That’s right, they tried to rob me. But I didn’t get hit. You know who got hit? The guys who ended up at the bottom of the stairs.”

Van Leer has bruised his ribs and reports it to the police. “It will be fine,” he tells his followers. “I feel strong. Because of you.”

The police are investigating Van Leer’s home. A firearm would have been found that has been secured by employees of the Forensic Investigation.

Van Leer was recently in the news when a sex video of him was leaked.
