According to management, Van Leer was admitted to hospital “for observation”. “He is in good hands there,” said a spokesman. Further details are not given.

It is not known whether the recording of Van Leer has to do with the leaked sex video of last Thursday.

On Friday, the stylist told Instagram that he thinks it is terrible what happened. “I need time to process it, so I will be offline for some time to come. I am surrounded by lovely people who take good care of me.”

The distribution of sexually explicit videos without the consent of the person portrayed is punishable.
