An explosion took place on Wednesday evening at a house on Nicolaas Beetslaan in Amstelveen. The police reports this around 9 p.m.
There were no injuries, but the building was damaged. “Think, for example, of windows that are broken,” says a spokesman for the police. The fire brigade has not been called up.
It is not yet clear what caused the explosion. The criminal investigation department is conducting an investigation and the Defense Explosives Clearance Service is also on site. The area is well cordoned off.
