Chamber of Commerce: Entrepreneurs are positive about company despite corona crisis

Despite the corona crisis, entrepreneurs in the Netherlands are positive about the current business situation, according to the Chamber of Commerce (KVK) on Thursday based on its own research. Most of them give the condition of their company a good score, although half of the entrepreneurs have seen a decrease in turnover.

Most of them give the condition of their company a good score, although half of the entrepreneurs have seen a decrease in turnover.

Despite the drop in revenue, 73 percent of those surveyed expect to continue doing business. The other quarter is struggling, especially entrepreneurs in the hospitality and culture sector. That is why 14 percent of the entrepreneurs surveyed say they may stop their own business.

The outlook for the next six months has not changed for many entrepreneurs. They give their situation a 6.9. The valuation can be compared with that before the current situation (the report mark 7.2).

According to the Chamber of Commerce survey, entrepreneurs will mainly focus on marketing in the next six months to increase the visibility of their company online. In addition, 14 percent want to initiate new campaigns, while 8 percent want to present a new service or product.
