Gert Verhulst (52) may have handed over Samson’s dog leash to his daughter Marie (25) forever, but one regular guest in the program will return anyway. None other than the famous hairdresser ‘Alberto Vermicelli’, played by Koen Crucke (68), makes a comeback in the show ‘Samson & Marie’.
Koen, who has been seen as Alberto since the beginning, told Gert Late Night that he will indeed return to Samson & Marie. “I actually have a duty of silence about this”, he said in the talk show. “May I say it?” he asked before announcing the news. “The new episodes have all been canned in the meantime.” The renewed show will premiere on September 28 at Ketnet. The big question is whether Walter Baele and Walter de Donder, who play Van Leemhuyzen and the mayor, are also making a comeback.
Gert became incredibly famous for his program with his four-legged friend. Now his daughter is taking over from him and that makes her quite nervous. They have already successfully released a few songs together, but Marie mainly hopes that her father will be ‘proud’ of her. In the video below she explains why.
