Easyjet will lay off 30 percent of staff

British budget airline Easyjet will reduce the workforce by up to 30 percent. The company announced in an update on the measures to weather the crisis corona.

CEO Johan Lundgren Easyjet says it wants to reduce the fleet, because the demand for tickets is expected only in 2023 back to the level for the crisis. Lundgren speaks of difficult times for the company, but also very difficult decisions.
