The United States has sued two Chinese hackers allegedly invaded by hundreds of organizations, including two in the Netherlands. The hackers are also suspected of steal data from research into a vaccine corona.
The two Chinese were invaded by hundreds of companies all over the world, including companies that supply the US Defense.
Other targets of the hackers were, according to the US Justice include governments, NGOs, dissidents, clergy and human rights activists. It involved organizations in the United States, China, Hong Kong and a number of other countries including the Netherlands.
According to the indictment goes in the Netherlands a large electronics company ‘in 2016, and a company that deals with the civil engineering and transport technology “in 2019. One of the two hackers used software on the network of companies that are using the Internet commands to feed. It is not known if the hacker has stolen data.
The two Chinese amassed during their years of cyber espionage lot of information including weapon design, medical research and major software codes.
“Recently they looked for vulnerabilities in computer networks of companies COVID-19 vaccines, testing technology and develop treatments,” the American Justice.
The suspects are a 33-year-old man and a 34 year old man. They would have acted partly for personal gain. But according to the Americans there was a line between the Chinese and the Chinese Ministry of Security, the intelligence service abroad.
