Asterix & Obelix fans pay tribute to Albert Uderzo

French cartoonist Albert Uderzo, who became famous with Asterix and Obelix, is deceased at the age of 92. His family announced Tuesday.

Uderzo created the comic series along with scriptwriter René Goscinny, who died in 1977. The first story Asterix the Gaul in 1959 appeared in the comic magazine Pilote.
