The lower limit for meetings of up to one hundred people no longer applies and there will now be handed out fines. “Dutch standards which will be hefty fines,” said Minister Ferd Grapperhaus (Justice and Security). For businesses, that means 4,000 euros for individuals and can be up to 400 euros.

What tightening means for catering, hairdressing salons and schools is not yet known. The government announced earlier that it applies to a closure and 6 April. Minister Hugo de Jonge (Health) said that it is not excluded that these measures be extended.
